This week I’m teaching “Saddle Ridge Ranch: VBX” to the Preteens of Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield, TN! We will have a blast, rounding up questions and driving home answers!
I know that this week and next week are probably the two biggest VBS weeks of the year! VBS is such an important evangelistic part of our Kids Ministry strategy. Did you know that in many churches there are more prospects identified during VBS than the rest of the year combined? Did you know that in many churches there are more professions of faith during VBS than any other time of the year?
VBS is an incredible opportunity for your Kids ministry to really do some great Kingdom work. Expect God to do something really great at your church… do everything possible to prepare yourself for what God is preparing for you!
Today we learned that God’s greatest creation is people. Be thankful and praise God for you are one of His GREATEST creations!
Bottom Line: For most Kid’s Ministries VBS is the biggest event of the summer. How are you using this event for Kingdom results?
Let us know what works the best (and what doesn’t). I’m teaching VBX @ FBCNash next week. A little nervous (lots of kids!! potentially more if the Fannie Battle Day School kids come again [hope they do!]) but confident that we have a terrific teaching team. We’ll have a good time rounding up answers from God’s Word, no matter what — ’cause He’ll show up. I do trust that! =)
