Wow—can you believe we’re about to wrap up December and enter a new year?! This month we’ve had great posts that have encouraged us, given us great ideas, and provided us with tools for kids ministry. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to read them all! For those who have already done so, let’s take a look back over three posts that I particularly like for various reasons:
On December 1, Klista wrote a post called “Let’s Go to the Movies!” She talks about the special Christmas movies that she likes to watch with her family, and several members of the Kids Team shared their favorites as well. I think many of us love watching certain movies over Christmas. I just experienced this myself with my family. There is still one on my list that I haven’t watched this year, but hey—December isn’t over yet!
On December 8, Jeff wrote a post called “FLYTE: What Are People Saying?” It’s always encouraging to receive positive feedback on a resource that so many people have prayed over and worked so hard to produce. Jeff incorporated a testimonial video into his post. So if you haven’t heard what other kids ministers are saying about FLYTE, check it out!
On December 20, Scott wrote a post called “A Teaching Legacy.” What a powerful reminder he gives of the impact a teacher (or any intentional adult for that matter) can have on a child and how that legacy carries over to future generations just as God designed. As I’ve heard it said before, this is how to “outlive your life.” This post is a must-read for all of us!
What posts this month (or this year) have impacted you the most?
Happy New Year—I pray God will bless you and your ministry mightily this year!
