Is there anything worse than an unorganized Kids Minister? Lack of organization says a lot about your ministry… even if it’s not the truth; perception is indeed reality to many.
No one wants to be a part of an organizational nightmare. If it’s perceived that you’re unorganized, you’ll struggle with volunteers, you’ll struggle keeping your leaders, and you’ll struggle with respect. So, get organized. Clean off your desk. Get rid of all those boxes in the corner. Clean out the resource room. Be on time for meeting. Keep your calendar up to date. These and other organizational habits will help you get your work done more efficiently, and will also help with the perception of your ministry.
Clean it up, get it organized, and then work your organization in 2013.
