#8: Appreciate your Leaders!
Does your leadership team know just how much you appreciate them? Do your Bible study teachers realize how important the work they do each week is to the overall Kids Ministry at your church? Hopefully so… but don’t leave any question in their minds.
It’s the little things that mean a lot! Personal notes, a quiet “thank you,” or even a favorite candy bar with a note of appreciation can go a long way. Maybe it’s time to schedule an Appreciation Banquet or Picnic for your group. Even the most seasoned teacher like to hear that she’s doing a good job and the “newbie’s” really need to hear it!
In 2013 make it a priority to publicly, privately, and purposefully appreciate your leaders.
