Today, I have the privilege of introducing you to a new blog series called “Try This, Not That.” We all have those times in our ministries when we are faced with sudden challenges and are forced to make quick decisions. Oftentimes, after these quick decisions are made, we think to ourselves “If I had to do it all over again, I would do …. ” That is exactly what this blog series is about. Sharing other people’s “I wish I would haves” so that the next time you are faced with a split second decision, you will be able to think about some tips for how to do it a little better. The bad news is we are all human and so that means we are going to mess up. The good news is that God’s grace is sufficient. No matter how much we mess up or how big of a conundrum we find ourselves in, He is there with open arms saying, “Let me hold you, child!”
If you have a ministry moment that you wish you could do over, be sure to tell us about it. We would love to use it in an upcoming “Try This, Not That” post.
