I’ve written about it before, but one of my favorite things about working at Lifeway is the amazing people that I get to work with. Today, I wanted to highlight a few (a very few) of the people who were lucky enough to be sitting at their desk when I came by with my camera. These are some of the people who work day in and day out to create the amazing product that is Bible Studies for Life: Kids.
This month kicks off Pastor Appreciation month. I believe that my team here at Bible Studies for Life each have roles that minister to kids, and so I think of them as kids\’ ministers and I want to appreciate them, too. If you are parent or a leader, what do you do to show your kids\’ minister that you appreciate him or her? I\’ll be blogging some ideas in a couple of weeks, but I wanted to go ahead and get the wheels turning!
Susan is a meticulous editor who is responsible for searching for misplaced modifiers and unnecessary commas. She is positive and encouraging. Susan says that her favorite part of working on Bible Studies for Life is knowing that what she does makes a difference.
Jessica and I have been working together for over seven years. Around Lifeway, teams change up pretty often, but through it all, Jessica and I have worked together. She is a loving mom and devoted wife and one of the most amazing artists I’ve every met. She creates many of the beautiful designs you see in Bible Studies for Life. She says her favorite part of working on Bible Studies for Life is being able to use her artistic talent to help teachers bring kids closer to Jesus.
James has been working at Lifeway for 20 years. He is a talented magician and an amazing Sunday School teacher. James says that his favorite part of working on Bible Studies for Life is that he actually gets to use it every week with the kids he teaches.
Erika is one of the newest members of our team, but she has caught on amazingly. She loves Jesus and kids. She has been a total blessing to our team. Erika says that her favorite part of working with Bible Studies for Life is how relevant it is to the kids lives.
Keith is the app developer for the Bible Studies for Life: Kids Family App. He says that his favorite part of the app is the videos. He says they are awesome!
I love all of my team members and there are a lot more of them than this, they just all conveniently weren\’t in their offices when I got ready to blog. I appreciate my team. Do you appreciate your KidMin?
