A Bible Made for Kids

June 13, 2014 | Dathan Hale

When it’s time to pick out a new Bible, it can be quite confusing. As a parent or kids ministry leader, it can be more confusing when looking for the perfect Bible for a child. It’s not easy to find a Bible that’s easy to read, inviting for kids, and in a translation you trust. If these are some things you are looking for in a kid’s Bible, you should consider The Big Picture Interactive Bible.

Here are some reasons why this Bible is great for kids:

1. The Big Picture Interactive Bible is a study Bible designed with kids in mind.

It has colorful Bible story pictures, important questions to key stories, highlighted Bible verses every kid should know, definitions to difficult but important words, and examples of how every Bible story connects to Jesus. It also has colorful maps to help identify where key events took place.

2. Discover key Bible stories easily.

If your looking for a specific Bible story, the Table of Contents is uniquely designed to help. While it tells you where to find the Books of the Bible, it also shares where key stories are within each book. You can read one of the these stories each night and travel through the Bible in less than a year or read a story a week and cover many of the Bible key stories in less than three years.

3. Kids can study this Bible on their own.

Even those who are not reading yet can jump in and enjoy this Bible. While the full text of the Bible is available for kids to read, even a non-reader can open the Bible and learn right away. Thanks to a free app, kids can find any Bible story picture and scan a small icon in the bottom, left or right corner. The picture will literally rise up out of the Bible and a narrator will deliver a summarized version of the story.

If your church is using The Gospel Project for Kids, there’s one more reason to consider The Big Picture Interactive Bible. This Bible is designed to help you reinforce the Bible stories, key passages, and Christ Connections your kids are learning each week. Regardless of what curriculum your church is using, engage your child in the most important book ever written, the Bible.
