We have all heard the story of the Big, Brown Bear and the Itty-Bitty Honey Tree! And when I tell you that friendship is more important than honey and you should never trust a shifty racoon, you can agree because everyone knows the story. Right? Or maybe not? More than likely, you have never heard this story and if I refer to a Itty-Bitty Honey Tree, you are probably going to give me strange looks!
So often, this is how we approach teaching the Bible to kids. We expect them to know the Bible story or have context to what the lesson is about when the reality is that most of these kids do not have the Biblical knowledge to base these ideas on. Hyfi Kids large group is a high-energy experience where kids can participate from the beginning. We know kids have questions. A lot of questions! And we want to help them know where to find those answers by opening the Bible as they discover who they are because of who God is. Using language and concepts that kids understand, leaders are equipped with scripted object lessons, games, and media that unpacks biblical truths. Kids will discover more about God by looking at His Word.
Large group is fun. Really fun! What if you had the energy of your biggest summer event every Sunday? This resource is packed full of media, games, and lessons that will get your kids engaging with the truth of the Bible like never before. Each week will start off with a countdown video and stage game that will get the kids cheering for their team and out of their seat. Kids will interact with the host through call-and-response teaching that encourages participation. Kids will laugh with the media and engage with their friends and leaders around them. Whether this is their first time or 100th time, kids will feel connected through fun!
