“Worker Bee” VBS Volunteer Appreciation Gifts

Volunteers are the heart of any successful VBS program. Without them, it wouldn’t happen! Showing them appreciation is essential to keeping their spirits high and their dedication strong. This “Worker Bee” appreciation idea celebrates volunteers for their hard work, dedication, and sacrifice of their time as they spread the good news of God’s love to kids. This “Worker Bee” theme goes perfectly with Magnified! VBS!

Supplies Needed:

• Small gift bags or clear cellophane bags
• Honey sticks or small jars of honey, see if anyone in your church sells honey or try to purchase locally!
• Honey dippers
• Bee-shaped keychains
• Yellow stress ball
• Packets of tea
• Printed tags

Gift Options:

1. “Sweet as Honey” Pack – Includes a small jar of honey, a honey dipper, and a note that says, “Your kindness is as sweet as honey! Thank you for your hard work!”
2. “Busy Bee Survival Kit” – Contains honey sticks, a packet of tea, and a yellow stress ball to remind them to take a break and be refreshed in God’s presence. Include a printed tag that says, “You’re a busy bee, make sure you take a break!”
3. “Bee-lieve in Your Impact” Token – A bee keychain with a note expressing gratitude for their dedication and service, “Thank you for being the best worker bee for Jesus! Your dedication helps make VBS a success.”

Assembly Instructions:

1. Place the selected gift items in small gift bags or clear cellophane bags.
