It’s the time of year when ministry teams are prepping curriculum for VBS teachers, making their decorating plans, and spreading the word about this summer’s VBS. As we plan and train teams that will be reaching kids, prayer moves to the top of the list, because we know that God cares about the details of Magnified! VBS.
On the upcoming National Day of Prayer, we thank God for VBS and how He has provided a way for us to go from death to new life through Jesus Christ. Join us as we take time to pray for churches, leadership, and our outreach to the communities we serve. We are excited to see how God will use VBS this summer to bring kids and families to know His great love and grace through Magnified! VBS.
Here are 5 ways to pray for VBS.
1. Ask God to help everyone serving in VBS to do everything with kindness and love.
2. Pray for kids to have genuine encounters with Jesus at VBS and to have boldness to make spiritual decisions.
3. Pray for kids to be welcoming and accepting of participants who are new to your church.
4. Pray that kids will share the biblical truths they learn at VBS with the people in their homes.
5. Pray for the VBS director and all leaders involved with the preparation and planning of VBS.
