Father’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to reflect on the love and care that our Heavenly Father shows us every day. While we honor our earthly fathers, it’s also an opportunity to help kids understand the nature of God as our loving, protective, and ever-present Father. This simple and meaningful craft will help kids connect with God’s incredible love!
Materials:
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons
- Ribbon (optional, for hanging)
- Stickers (optional for decoration)
Steps:
- Create the Heart Base: Cut out the heart shape. We have a download for the heart below to print out!
- Decorate the Heart: Have the kids decorate the heart with bright colors, stickers, or drawings. Encourage them to write words that describe how God is a good Father, like: loving, strong, kind, always there, my protector.
- Final Touch: If you want to make it easy to hang, add a ribbon to the top of the heart so it can be displayed in the home.
