From its beginning to its end, the Bible tells us God’s amazing story. A story of promises and a passionate pursuit. The book of Genesis introduces us to the promise of God to provide a Rescuer for people and One who would restore a broken relationship. Then throughout the individual stories of the Bible, we see one amazing story of God’s passion for restoring a relationship with people. 

Introducing TeamKID: God’s Amazing Story! In this edition of TeamKID, preschoolers and kids will take a 40-week journey through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. TeamKIDs will discover that, from the beginning to the end, everything in God’s story points to Jesus, and they will uncover the amazing truth of how they fit into God’s amazing story!

What is TeamKID? 

  • TeamKID is a 36-40 week discipleship resource that is perfect for midweek or Sunday evening ministry program. TeamKID is designed for preschoolers and kids, featuring Bible memory games and application of Bible truths, engaging missions videos and activities, and fun activity-based learning all while helping your kids grow to be more like Jesus. 

Who is TeamKID for? 

  • Preschool TeamKID is designed for preschoolers ages 3 through kindergarten. 
  • TeamKID is designed for kids in grades 1–6. 

When could I utilize TeamKID in my ministry? 

  • TeamKID resources can be integrated into a variety of ministry timeslots. 
  • TeamKID is developed to use in 1.5-to-2-hour segments.  
  • TeamKID is ideal for midweek/discipleship groups, after school programs, weekend retreats, day camps, and more. 

What sort of space is needed to utilize TeamKID? 

  • A room to accommodate the size of your group 
  • Space for games rotation (either in the main room or a secondary room or outdoor space better suited for games) 

How would I group my kids when using TeamKID? 

  • The recommended maximum number of kids in one team is 20. If you regularly have more than 20 kids, form an additional team.* 

Team options include: 

  • 2 Teams—Younger (grades 1–3) and Older (grades 4–6) 
  • 3 Teams—Grade 1, Grades 2–3, Grades 4–6 
  • 4 Teams—Grade 1, Grades 2–3, Grades 4–5, Grade 6 
  • 6 Teams—one per grade level

What does a TeamKID session look like?  

Opening Large Group (20–30 MINUTES) 

Led by the main leader, large group uses fun, innovative methods to both welcome and engage kids in Bible study and deeper level discussion. 

Bible Activities Rotation (10–15 MINUTES) 

This rotation of a TeamKID session presents fun, hands-on activities to help kids learn key Bible concepts, study their Bibles deeper, and work on Scripture memorization, Bible skills, and life application. There are two options available for leaders to customize and maximize the group’s schedule. 

Missions (10–15 MINUTES) 

The missions rotation invites kids to view life through the eyes of a missionary by watching a missions video or experiencing a missions activity. This rotation guides kids to find ways they can live “on mission” in their homes and communities. 

Games/Rec (15–20 MINUTES) 

The games rotation reinforces the truths from the session through high energy games and activities. The recreation leader chooses from up to three TeamKID games, including a unit bonus game, to customize the experience for kids. These games can be found either in a TeamKID Playbook or in the Leader Guides. 

Closing Large Group (5–10 MINUTES)
