Dear Kids Ministers,
As backpacks fill with pencils and classrooms buzz with energy, we know your ministry is entering a new season, too. While excitement and opportunity loom, so does the weight of responsibility. You’re preparing lessons, welcoming families, recruiting and training volunteers, and organizing calendars, all while nurturing young hearts to know and love Jesus.
Today, we want you to pause and remember this simple truth: you are not alone. We’re praying for you. And more importantly, God is with you—guiding you, strengthening you, and sustaining you in this sacred calling.
Let this be a prayer over you as you begin:
Father, thank You for every kids minister reading these words. Thank You for the calling You’ve placed on their life, to serve You by serving children and families. As they start this new year, fill them with renewed joy, vision, and endurance. Remind them that the seeds they plant in little hearts have eternal value. Let them feel Your presence in every room, every hallway, every small moment. In Jesus’ name, amen.
As you step into this new year, may these verses guide and encourage you:

You may not always see immediate fruit, but don’t grow weary. Your faithfulness matters.

You are opening the doors of the Kingdom each time you teach, welcome, listen, and love.

Even the behind-the-scenes work is sacred when it’s done for Him.
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.”

Your role in discipleship plants truth that will follow children their whole lives.
As you begin this new year, know that we are cheering you on, standing beside you, and most of all, praying for you. May God bless your ministry abundantly and may you feel His pleasure in the work you do each day.
