Ministry leaders often use the summer months to plan the year ahead, and that includes making space on the calendar for professional development, training, and even rest! One big event that covers all those things is the ETCH NextGen Ministry Conference in Nashville! If you have not registered yet, now is the time to benefit from early bird ticket prices and group rates for your whole team. If you are still on the fence, let me offer 3 big reasons for you to join us this fall.
1. You need to be replenished
Most of you cannot truly worship and be poured into on a typical Sunday. In fact, you are often creating the spaces and environments for worship to happen, or you are providing opportunities for families to worship together. One of the core values of ETCH is to build our main sessions around worshipful experiences. This is your time to be replenished and renewed in your calling to ministry. In addition to the incredible worship band, we will also feature world-class speakers such as Shane Pruitt, Connor Bales, and Blair Linne who will encourage you with biblical messages meant to encourage, inspire, and fill you up for the ministry year ahead.
2. You need community
ETCH is an amazing place for meeting like-minded people who are called to the same thing: reaching the next generation for the gospel. This is a great time to exchange great ideas and contact information, wrestle with tough questions about ministry, or simply fellowship and spur one another on! These are your people and you need to know one another.
3. You need to grow
As ministry leaders, we should always seek to grow and develop. The breakouts and pre-cons at ETCH are intentionally designed to help leaders learn new skills or think in a new way. Topics cover a variety of age groups and categories, including preschool, elementary, preteen, middle school, high school, college, Nextgen ministry, disability ministry, and more. Our presenters are hand selected to design the kind of training that leaders are asking for, such as thinking theologically about AI, engaging preteens, helping students answer hard questions, and helping parents navigate difficult conversations around pornography. We want to equip you and walk with you as you learn, grow, and develop as a leader.
So, what are you waiting for? Nashville is calling and our team wants to see you at ETCH in October! It’s our favorite time of the year because we get to host you and pour into you. Let’s be replenished and equipped in community, growing together for the kingdom!
