Hyfi’s study plan is built on 12 simple biblical truths. Each biblical truth, phrased as an “I am ____” statement, is assigned to a calendar month, then throughout the 4 weeks of that month, the biblical truth will be unpacked through engaging, interactive Bible study so that kids always will see who they are in light of who God is. 

Each month, preschoolers will be aligned with kids on the same simple biblical truth, though preschoolers will focus on who God is. “I am known” becomes “God knows me” for preschoolers.  

These 12 simple biblical truths combine to create a 12-month rolling scope and sequence. This rolling scope and sequence is viewed as circular, rather than a traditional linear approach. Each year, kids will study all 12 biblical truths with new, fun, and engaging monthly themes, activities, Bible stories, and media. And because each session and month stands alone, churches can jump in at any time. 

Planning for a weekend’s session doesn’t need to be time-consuming and burdensome. Hyfi is designed to be flexible and simple, using our brand new customizable and modular online curriculum builder. Because Hyfi is completely digital, session segments can be toggled off or on directly inside the builder, so your session’s activities will fit within your ministry schedule.  

Every Hyfi session has been built on our “Outside In” relational philosophy. You’ll find that every segment within a session has been strategically ordered to help kids move from feeling like an outsider to feel welcomed and part of the group, preparing their hearts to receive the biblical teaching of the day. However, your ministry context is unique, and you may find that certain elements of your session will fit your schedule in a different order. Don’t worry. The Hyfi curriculum builder allows you to easily rearrange the order of your session as needed. 

You may have heard a saying similar to “Playtime is a kid’s classroom.” Through a series of active and interactive live or video elements, each Hyfi session will feel more like camp and less like Sunday school. In most cases when the kids in our ministries are enjoying themselves and having fun, they will be much more open to hear and receive the biblical truth of the day.
