Where Does Transformation Come From?

As Christians, we know that by believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him to be our Savior, He saves us from our sin and we get to live in eternity with Him. Praise God! That is biblical transformation in its greatest form. This gospel message is one we should proclaim to the ends of the earth. It should also drive everything we do in our kids ministry, both theologically and practically. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Wow, a new creation. This is more than just I was lost, and now I\’m found. This passage speaks much more significance than that. We are no longer our old selves. We have been reconciled to God and no longer carry the burdens we might have once carried.  We aren\’t just carrying a new banner that says Christian, we are completely transformed into a new creation!

He served on summer staff (Crosspoint and CentriKid) for 7 summers and moved full-time at Lifeway in December 2008.
