Within a children’s ministry (and the church body as the whole), there is nothing quite as important as responsible evangelism. As we have opportunities to share the lavish grace of the Gospel with those we come in contact with, we want to be very careful to teach Truth and develop disciples who love and follow Jesus.
Sometimes, it can be challenging to know exactly how to talk about salvation and baptism — especially when you need to do so in kid language! I would encourage you to learn to share your faith in simple terms even if you do not work directly with kids. Those who have not grown up in the church might not be familiar with our churchy words, and will benefit from simple explanations.
