If you haven’t yet decided what to do for your volunteers, let us give you some help! This idea is both easy and it won’t empty out your Christmas fund.
Have volunteers over for a dinner at your house. There is something really great about having dinner with someone in their home. It makes them feel like they are really loved and appreciated. Your volunteers will love being invited to your house. You can either provide dinner for them or have it as a potluck where they can bring side items. You will have fun either way! 
And the meal doesn\’t have to take place before the holidays– you could even plan something for the new year!
If you aren’t able to host a dinner party at your home, remember that the important thing is that you spend time with your volunteers and make them feel like you really appreciate what they do for you each week. That can be done anywhere!
