Last night as I was putting my boys to bed, we picked up one of the many The Birth of Jesus type children’s books and began to read it. As I read along, I was struck by just how inaccurate this book was about our Savior’s birth. This particular book even went so far as to list the number and types of animals that Mary and Joseph had.
I\’m not even sure when it was that I learned that the Wise Men weren\’t at the manger shortly after the shepherds left, but what I do remember is that I felt snowed. How in the world was it that I had been taught so incorrectly about the Bible.
A few years back, my friend GG Mathis wrote up a great quiz for kids to see just how much they knew about the real Christmas story. This week, I noticed that one of my friends, JoAnna Moore, had thanked GG over Facebook for the quiz that she had used once again to stump her Sunday School class. I immediately asked JoAnna to send it to me because I knew that this would be a great resource for you to use with your kids at church this Sunday.

I hope that you will find some use for this quiz this week in your Sunday School class. Think about how you might be able to lead your kids in the right direction and show them how important it is that we rely on the biblical account of the Nativity Story.
