I love the Easter season. It just feels hopeful. I’ve always been more of a “glass half full” than a “glass half empty” kind of guy, so I wonder how I would have felt to have been one of Jesus’ disciples. Would I have eagerly anticipated my Savior’s rising from the dead or would I have been defeated knowing that my Teacher had been murdered?
Easter is such a great time to teach kids about the sacrifice of Jesus. As you are preparing to teach your Easter sessions, be sure to think about how your church works on Easter. Many churches do not have Sunday School due to parking and crowding issues on Easter Sunday morning. If you find yourself in that predicament, be sure to teach the Easter Session from the Special Focus session in your Bible Studies For Life: Kids Leader Guides.
If your church does offer Sunday School on Easter, be sure to check out our bonus Easter sessions available for Preschool and Elementary, so that you can have several Easter-related sessions this season.
